Portland: An Afternoon Off

Today was the exact opposite of yesterday. Instead of being stuck at the plant all day, I was free as a bird. After a press check this morning, they informed me that they didn't need me again until this evening. So Kristine (the press rep) and I did lunch at Papa Haydn and some shopping at Paper Source, Cool Cottons, and Dava Bead & Trade. Kristine then dropped me at my car so I could drive out to Hillsboro for an impromptu visit with a friend of my mom's. I made my way back to the plant via Lake Oswego and a quick stop at the grounds of the Portland Oregon Temple.

More to come . . .

I LOVE that temple! My sister-in-law and her family live in Salem. I think Oregon is a magical place. :)

I love that you are posting again. You take beautiful photos. And you're beautiful, too. (Send money in a plain envelope.) ;-}
