I slept really well last night.
And that's a big deal when you're a non-sleeper like me.
I think it was partly due to the new ceiling fan hanging in my bedroom.
You see, I like to sleep when it's cold. Really cold, to be precise. That way I can
snuggle comfortably into a tight bundle of warm blankets and not fry.
And now that my bedroom is on the second floor and because hot air rises,
it's hard to get my ideal sleeping conditions. Well, that is without a
hefty electric bill (which I'm more than happy to pay throughout the summer).
But now I have a ceiling fan. It's like sleeping in a constant, cool breeze.

Are you your father's child? We are into the "freezing-on-the-farm" time of year. Love your fan. Look at Darin--trying to insinuate himself into our hearts that way. ;-}
