On Wednesday morning I flew to Portland for work. And while I usually write about my flying mishaps, I'm happy to be posting something good. Really good. You see, I sat next to Brandon Doman on my flight. (Insert schoolgirl giggle here.) For those of you asking who Brandon Doman is, I don't think we can be friends anymore. He was the BYU quarterback in 2000-2001. And was hired by Bronco Mendenhall to be the Quarterback Coach in 2005 and the Offensive Coordinator in 2011. He's affectionately known as the "Domanator" by fans. So when he sat down next to me I tried to act cool. Instead of like the hysterical BYU fan I really am. It took every ounce of energy but I was able to successfully keep the crazy in check. Pretty much, anyway.
Once the flight landed in Portland, I got my bags and rental car and went straight to the plant. Kristine, our press rep, was there waiting for me. Over the next couple of days (and nights) we will be doing the press check for the Holiday Catalog. Then I'll have a few days to mess around on my own over the weekend before I have to be back to the plant on Tuesday to do the press check for the July Magazine and for a few meetings. I fly home Wednesday afternoon.
But first up on the Portland docket? A gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and cup of tomato soup from Paragon. It is raining here after all.
More to come . . .

Oh- Paragon. I die.
DANG! Apparently you and I can't be friends anymore, since I don't know your football dude... Darn. I SO enjoyed being your friend! ;o)
THAT is not the right grilled cheese sandwich. Just sayin...
And I can't believe you never said anything to Brandon Doman....
You could have at least asked him if Luke Staley was as hot in person. Sheesh!
