Yesterday I had another "episode." (Remember the Tylenol PM incident? Or my Diet Coke confusion?) I blame it on the fact that I didn't sleep well the night before. I'd gone to bed worrying about something and couldn't get my mind to shut off. I got maybe two hours of shut eye total. As a result I was dragging all day at work. Even the can of Diet Coke I had for breakfast didn't take the edge off. The can I had at lunch didn't help either. (Insert snide remarks about my drinking problem here.) So when I finally got home from work I was exhausted. Stick a fork in me, I was done.
But I felt bad about being completely unproductive all evening so I ran to Lowe's to pick up a pair of pruning shears. The weather was so nice and I had some bushes that needed haircuts. I pulled into the parking lot, parked, grabbed my purse, got out of the car, shut the door, and headed into the store. Notice that I didn't include that I turned off the car and took the keys out of the ignition? Um, ya . . .
Totally missed those two key steps in the process. And I was all the way through the front door and half-way down the gardening isle before I realized it. Luckily my car was still there in the parking lot when I got back to it. But my mind? Well, it was obviously nowhere to be found.

When you start doing a 32 oz for breakfast and a 32 oz for lunch.....then we'll talk.
