Portland: Via Boise

I love to travel. And I love road trips. So when I found out that I needed to be in Portland, OR for a week in October for work, I decided to tack on a few vacation days and drive instead of fly. I left Saturday afternoon and spent the first night in Boise, ID. The drive was beautiful (I love Idaho) and the sky was cloudy (I love rain). My hotel was near the Boise Idaho Temple so I spent a few minutes the next morning walking the grounds before getting back on the road.
