I’ve been touched by some comments (especially the italicized portion) in his correspondence to those participating. “Last week I sat down with the head of the Church Music Dept. about our performance of "Joseph Smith the Prophet" next month. He impressed on me quite strongly the importance of our opportunity and I wanted to pass it on to you. He explained that ours will be the first big "outside" performance given at the Tabernacle since it was renovated and that the leaders of the Church are concerned that this presentation be of the utmost quality, absolutely unimpeachable. To perform in the Tabernacle is an amazing honor and we need to give a performance worthy of it. Even more importantly, I want to give a performance worthy of the subject we're treating. If we do so, our hearts, and those of the audience, will be profoundly affected."
What an honor. I’ve seen it performed multiple times and find myself drawn to its simple, yet profound, testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith. It seems to bring those powerful and poignant feelings to my heart that were so frequent in the missionfield but that so often escape my notice in the busyness of life. So, please, come if you can; it is an opportunity worth taking.

Glad you're doing it, too!
I'll sacrifice being a diva to sit next to you anytime.
That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me. :)
We'll be there. So glad you are having this opportunity.
Oh . . . and I'm so glad you have put some of your designs on your blog. You amaze me, little lady!
