And this flea market far surpassed any other I've been to. It. Was. Awesome.

There were a bazillion booths. Ok, 2500 to be exact. And they filled every inch of the parking lots surrounding the stadium. It look me a good four hours just to do a walk-through. And then another couple more to go back and do my buying. There was so much more stuff I would have gotten had I had a way to get them home. I'm making a mental note to bring a truck next time.

The gate into the actual stadium was open to the public and you could walk around the bleachers and field. Being the sports fan (maybe fanatic is a better word?) that I am, I was super excited to see this famous place. But it wasn't as awesome as I had always imagined it to be. I expected to be so overcome with raw emotion upon entering the stadium that I would have felt compelled to rush the field. Not so. It was so rundown. In fact, it looked like they were in the beginning stages of some pretty major, and very necessary, repair work.

But I'll tell you one thing that's for sure, now that I've seen this flea market first hand I'm planning on trip back. And soon.
