Weekend at the Skinny

A few months ago my friend Jeanna invited a bunch of us girls to spend the weekend in Bear Lake. Her family has a place up there, not far from the lake, nicknamed "The Skinny Cabin." And I jumped at the chance to get out of dodge for a weekend. But by the time we actually got to leaving only Jeanna, Michelle, and I could actually make the trip. But have no fear! We may have been small in number but the weekend certainly wasn't small on fun. We talked, laughed, killed a very large spider, laughed some more, slept out on the balcony, walked down to the lake, and of course enjoyed a raspberry shake. Saturday night we went to the Pickleville Playhouse for dinner and to see the melodrama "Who Shot Juanito Bandito." Oh my. So. Incredibly. Funny. And fun. So much so that I actually bought the cast recording on iTunes. (Should I really admit that?!) But seriously, the entire trip was so much fun. I didn't want to go home.
