On the road again

Yup, another shameful business trip. This time I went to Portland for a few days to oversee the printing of a couple of items for work. We printed with the same company we use in Los Angeles but decided to switch it up a bit by using their Portland plant this time. I stayed at the downtown Westin Hotel and had yet another awesome room in which to relax on our downtime. The king size bed and goose down linens were a-mazing and the multi-head shower was to die for. No water conservation going on there, thank you very much. I had a bit of time to wonder around the city and thoroughly enjoyed the Portland atmosphere and beautiful weather. And I'm diggin' the five new pairs of earrings I bought. But before flying home we went to lunch at Jake's. They are famous for their crawfish and, dang it, I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to make a mess of myself cracking, eating, and sucking the life out of those little boiled bodies. It was pure bliss. All in all, it was a great trip and I hope to convince my boss to print in Portland more often. :)

That is one fine exterior on that hotel! Sounds like you had another good time, uh, working.

My husband used to tell me that business trips weren't much fun....which was, quite obviously, an untruth. I'm just wondering if you need a personal assistant when you travel. I'm quite organized, have typing skills, and a pleasant voice on the phone...

I was so full of jealousy and envy until I got to the picture of the crawfish. No thanks!!! I think your business trips sound better than most vacations ;)
