Ya, the drive-by media the next day keep giving him a pass on the comment because "he must have been tired due to his hectic campaign schedule." Give me a break. Tired or not, it was a laughable thing to say.
Um, that's a little embarrassing, but it looks like he just thought of the comment on the spot. I think a speech writer would catch it.
